About Dr. Jill Weintraub, Double Board Certified Integrative Rheumatologist

“Dr. Weintraub’s intuitive understanding of autoimmune disease and integrative medicine, combined with her meticulous nature, distinguishes her as a pioneer in the field of Integrative Rheumatology.” CD, NYC

As an experienced doctor and an integrative health provider, I wanted to think outside the box of pharmaceutical and corporate-driven rheumatology.  In my commitment to this approach, I created the small, intimate practice that is Integrative Rheumatology Consultants.

Integrative Rheumatology Consultants is a place where autoimmune diseases can be fully understood, and where the treatment emerges from an understanding of the root cause.

The Integrative Approach to Rheumatology

Integrative Rheumatology Consultants sets a new standard for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.  Dr. Weintraub helps individuals with these syndromes to take control of their symptoms, enhance their innate healing capacity, and realize their goals for healthy, vibrant living.

The diagnosis of an autoimmune disease requires a comprehensive approach, a thorough exploration of the client’s environmental history, diet, emotional state, and unique triggering factors.

Treatment should not only address the symptoms, but should eliminate the factors that led to the break in immune tolerance.  More often than not, pharmaceutical medication is only part of the solution.  A multifaceted approach, including therapeutic foods, botanicals and supplements, mind-body medicine, and lifestyle changes, is optimal to stop disease progression and promote innate healing.

Integrative Rheumatology Consultants is a place where evidence-based medicine intersects with a whole-body approach.

Using her skills in traditional, pharmacologic-based rheumatology, as well as integrative medicine, culinary medicine, and meditation, Dr. Weintraub creates treatment plans based on the unique needs of the individual.  She also communicates with other involved providers to create a team approach.

Based on amount of time that Dr. Weintraub spends with her patients, she is unable to accept Medicare, and is an “out of network” provider for commercial insurance. Her office will give you an itemized bill to submit to your insurance for available reimbursement.

Dr. Weintraub listened to me, she never brushed off my symptoms.  She stayed with me until we figured it out, when so many other doctors told me it was in my head... I knew something was wrong, and she believed me.
